These agate slices are turned into modern art with simple framing. Check out the incredibly easy DIY Agate Art at Dans le Townhouse. FYI - the slices you can sometimes get a great deal on at Ebay.

Woodland Terrarium | Ruffled
These tiny terrariums are the sweetest. Though this project suggests making these as gifts for your wedding guests, if you can’t afford to do that (though omigosh, I would love to get one of these at a wedding!) they would make gorgeous centre pieces for your tables. If you’re making them for your wedding, you could even add some flowers similar to your bouquet or tie on a ribbon in your colour.

This becomes an upcycle project when you use threadbare sheets, old shirts, or towels which aren’t terribly useful as towels anymore. =^.^= If you go with the towels, cut the strips a bit more narrow to make assembly easier. If the strips are less than an inch across and still too snug to push through with no tools, break out a crochet hook! (Or even a bobby pin)
